My name is Myron Dewey, I am Newe-Numah/Paiute-Shoshone from the Walker River Paiute Tribe, Agui Diccutta Band (Trout Eaters) in the Great Basin area of Nevada.  I am a proud Husband and father.

I am owner of Digital Smoke Signals a Social Media & Film company,  Indigenizing Technology a Research/Development of technology company and Indigenous Networking a Social Web development company.

In 2003 I graduated from Haskell Indian Nations University with an AA in “Computer Information’s Systems & Bachelor in Business Administration. The same time I started Digital Smoke Signals a “Social Media & Film company.

In 2007 I graduated with an M.A (Digital Language Preservation) from the University of Kansas “Center for Indigenous Studies” where I receive an award from the Big 12 College Graduate Student of the Year.  In 2008 I was excepted into a 2 year program called American Indian for Opportunities and May 2010 I was excepted into the e200 Small Business Association program which helps Native American entrepreneurs achieve strategic business plans and financial goals .

I work currently  I teach 2-3day workshop in guerrilla & professional style filming to empower youth in film-making and short documentaries.

Digital Smoke Signals goal through Social Media & Film is to help Bridging the Digital Divide Throughout Indian Country supported by our business core values (Culture, Reciprocity, Respect and Family).
